Spur gearheads are ideal for low torques. The gearheads consist of a number of stages. One stage represents the pairing of two cogwheels. The initially toothed gear (pinion) is mounted on the electric motor shaft. The bearing of the outcome shaft is usually manufactured from sintered materials.
